Please include all food, drink (with quantities) and physical activity level for the day
Can you tell me more about physical activity level (PAL)?
Physical Activity Levels (PALs) are classifications that describe an individual’s physical activity in relation to their basal metabolic rate (BMR). Here are the common PAL categories with examples:
- Sedentary (PAL 1.2): Little to no physical activity, primarily sitting (e.g., office workers).
- Lightly Active (PAL 1.375): Light exercise or sports 1-3 days a week (e.g., casual walking or light yoga).
- Moderately Active (PAL 1.55): Moderate exercise or sports 3-5 days a week (e.g., jogging, cycling, or swimming).
- Very Active (PAL 1.725): Hard exercise or sports 6-7 days a week (e.g., training for a marathon).
- Super Active (PAL 1.9): Very hard exercise, physical job, or training twice a day (e.g., competitive athletes or manual labor jobs).
These classifications help in assessing energy needs and planning diets or fitness programs.
